Lakes Michigan-Huron water levels – May 8 L. Michigan-Huron is projected to be 9 inches above a year ago; L. Superior is expected to be 3 inches below a year ago. Also, L. Superior and Michigan-Huron are 3 inches above their record high May monthly levels. In one month, both lakes are expected to be 2 to 3 inches higher.
