Drowned ‘High Water Mark’ Ends Michigan.Gov Shore RegulationLake Michigan-Huron drowned the Ordinary High-Water Mark (580.5 feet) in Mid-2019.  The vanishing of this line in the sand ended State of Michigan authority to regulate shoreline construction.  The line has emerged by lower water but is forecast to submerge again this spring.  A 2020  Bill to restore State authority died in ‘lame duck’ legislative Session. Read more 2021 Winter TNN News
