RESTORE – ONE STREAM AT A TIME - MITCHELL CREEK-KEWADIN. A substantial run of suckers entered the Creek several hundred feet in from the bay after a long absence. Creek flow was improved by removing blockage in the main channel near Mud Lake, from a tributary at the Bay, and abundant seasonal rainfall. More water originating north of Erickson Rd. overwhelmed the Road but did not wash it out this year as did M-88. Sucker runs benefit streams with eggs and waste as they migrate.
