WATER LEVELS FORECAST DECEMBER 2023 US Army Corps of Engineers. Lake Michigan - Huron continues seasonal decline of 2 inches to remain 4 inches above Long Term Average. Nov. 2023 is two inches below last year; 34 inches below record high because of below average precipitation.  Lake Michigan-Huron is projected to continue seasonal decline this winter to 1-6 inches below last year, remain 32-34 inches below record highs, and 1-3 inches above Long Term Average (LTA).
