WATER LEVELS FORECAST FEBRUARY 2026 – US ARMY CORPS. January precipitation for Lake Michigan-Huron was about average. Water supplies for January were below average. From December to January Lake M-H water level remains steady at 12 inches below long term average. Even though Grand Traverse Bay froze over, the larger bodies of water did not. A further drop in water levels is expected after spring runoff is done.
